Hi, I'm Leong.

I'm an experienced UI/UX Designer with a rich background spanning consulting, advertising, telecom, eCommerce, media, and government sectors. My design philosophy prioritizes practical solutions to real-world issues, with a focus on functionality and aesthetics.

I bring a versatile skill set that covers interaction design, motion graphics, web and mobile design, photography, and more. My expertise extends to illustration, storyboarding, wireframing, prototyping, and branding. In the realm of research, I'm proficient in comparative analysis, surveys, user research, usability testing, and journey mapping. With a strong educational foundation and certifications in User Experience Research and Interaction Design, I'm committed to enhancing design quality and user experiences.

Ministry of Manpower: Acting on Behalf

The Acting on Behalf (AoB) feature is designed to address the challenges faced by non-tech-savvy employers who rely on family members to manage their helper's work pass transactions.

My Role

As the UI/UX Designer for the Acting on behalf feature, I designed and tested the user interface, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful implementation.

Main Goal

The research focused on understanding how family members engage in transactions on behalf of employers. It aimed to identify pain points, challenges, and test a new flow. The goal was to encourage family members to use their SingPass for transactions.

CHERRY EXCHANGE APP

The Cherry Exchange App is designed to cater to the specific needs of gamers. The app's features include a prepaid/post-paid payment option, the ability to recharge Cherry e-wallet with virtual credits, and secure and hassle-free payment methods.

My Role

I was the UI UX designer and reseacher.

Main Goal

The key goal was to enable users to purchase game credits seamlessly.

CHERRY CREDITS

The main goals of the project are to create an integrated design system and language that caters to all user types, merge the two online portals into a one-stop solution, improve UX journey and UI, increase traffic for users and merchants, ensure promotions and news reach users, attract users to check the site regularly, find alternative ways for merchants to push sales, and make everything responsive.

My Role

The team was given 8 months to redesign, code and launch the website. As I'm the UI UX designer and researcher for this project.

Main Goal

The main key metric of the project was to convert public users into paying customers, with a goal of improving this by at least 5%.

 

To achieve this, there were two secondary key metrics:

to shorten the number of clicks to complete a transaction, and to increase the overall satisfaction users get from the website.
